Anyway, the hair that's going to end up in your brow is taken from a donor.  The cool thing about this procedure is that, when all is said and done, you'll have a whole new set of eyebrows!  That's right!  They'll grow just like they are your own.  This is crucial because styles are constantly changing.  You don't want to be stuck with something that's popular now but bound to get old.  You want to be able to shape and reshape your new toys!

A good doctor will really take his time with this procedure.  Usually only 1 or 2 hairs are done at a time.  It's very important that they are put in exactly the right spot.  We want a natural look remember.  A typical brow replacement procedure will consist of about 200 separate hairs.  This number can range quite a bit though.  Some women only need 50 hairs to fill out their brows.  Others will need as many as 400.  As long as you're not on the higher end of this scale, chances are you're looking at about 2 hours worth of surgery.  This really isn't that bad compared to some other cosmetic surgeries.  Your new brows will be quite sensitive for up to about 2 weeks after the surgery.  At this point, the hairs will actually fall out.  Shortly after this, you'll begin to see new hairs coming in.
