American Crew Hair Care For Men - Classic

American Crew has been in around for a while now.  They offer something very unique in the beauty and style industry...  Their products don't target women!  That's right, American Crew is all about us manly men.  I think it says a heck of a lot about a company when they can just ignore half of the market share.  Kudos to them.  Anyway...  Their Classic line of products is by far their most popular.  In recent years, they've come up with other lines like Citrus Mint and Tea Tree, but their bread and butter is still in the Classic group of products.  Now like all beauty companies, they have a lot of different little sub-lines.  In the hair sector, companies tend to combine shampoos, conditioners and treatments into a kit or system.  This can actually work out in your favor.  Do a bit of searching online and you can probably find some pretty cheap deals out there if you order a few different products from the same line.  Check out a few sites before you pull out the plastic though.

Shampoos, Conditioners, Gels, Sprays And Treatments

So American Crew's Classic line of products is basically divided into the 5 categories you see above.  With each heading, there are a couple different items available.  We'll start with the everyday shampoo and work ourselves towards the treatments.  One reoccurring theme you'll almost certainly see is that American Crew do a lot of products made for damaged and dry hair.  This is great because, for the longest time, moisturizing and replenishing type hair products were only made for women.

American Crew Shampoo - Keep It Clean While Fixing Damage

They are for types of shampoos in their classic line.  First off, there is the Daily Shampoo.  This is for people that have pretty normal, healthy hair.  Secondly, they have a Daily Moisturizing Shampoo.  This is probably American Crew's most popular item.  It has wheat protein in it and is great at repair damaged hair.  It also does wonders if you suffer from dry scalp.  Moisture is a good thing in hair.  The last shampoo in American Crew's Classic Series is the anti-dandruff shampoo.  If your shoulders have a lot of little white friends, you may want to give this a go.  If dandruff isn't a problem but fullness is, you may want to try out the Thickening Shampoo.  This is designed specifically for men suffering from thin, weak hair.  If you want more fullness, more volume, give this product a go.

American Crew Conditioner - Manage Your Hair While Keeping It Healthy

Unlike their shampoo line, the conditioner product group has only one item in it. I think there is something to be said for not oversaturating certain product groups... American Crew's conditioner is called Stimulating Conditioner. It has rosemary and thyme to help keep your hair manageable and moist. If you have oily hair, you may also notice that this item helps with that. The ingredients have a way of cutting through grease and oil, leaving your hair with a healthy shine.

American Crew Hair Gel - Light, Medium And Firm

So how do you like your hair gel? Do you want to people to manage it a bit after you apply the stuff or do you want your hair to turn into a rock? Whether it's one of these traits or somewhere in between, American Crew has you covered on the Gel front. They have 3 types of gels in their classic line - Light Hold, Medium Hold and Firm Hold. Regardless of what kind you choose, American Crew Gels have a few unique features to them. They actually double as a kind of hair treatment for dry scalp. Don't ask me how this works but it does! They also provide some UV protection for those guys that spend a lot of time outside.

American Crew Hair Spray

Like their conditioner line, American Crew only makes one kind of hair spray. It's called Grooming Spray and it's great. It performs as well as any high end designer hair care product but washes out easily. This washabilility is a tough trait to find in hair sprays.

American Crew Hair Treatments

One of American Crew's newer products is called Fiber. It's not actually fiber but does provide the user with many of the benefits that proper fiber does! It's the company's first foray into the "Treatment" side of things. They should do fairly well with it because there isn't a lot of stuff out there for men with dry, damaged hair. Fiber has been engineered for men with thin, limp hair. It increases fullness and volume, providing the user with a mean, full, thick head of hair!
